The end of February we arrived in Texas to apply for a visa, attend several meetings and have Luke's knee looked at by an ortho doctor.
Luke's brother picked us up and brought his large dog "Benny" along for the ride.
The kids quickly learned that Sonic Happy Hour is awesome!
I always love taking pictures of the kids on the course across from Luke's parents house. It is definitely nostalgic.
We took a few days to go down to the beach. A cold front blew in so we didn't do much swimming but we still had fun. Especially since Luke's parent's dog was with us.

Ezra joined a Spring golf league through US Golf kids. It had tournaments nearly every week late Sunday afternoons. Since we were in Austin for Luke's physical therapy regularly it meant we would be in one place long enough to join.
The beginning of April is the start of the new school year. We had special pancakes with a 4 for Ezra and a 2 for Madelyn.
The Dell Matchplay is in Austin and it was so much fun!
The kids met a lot of players on the Wednesday practice day.
They got so many signatures and it really made the professional side of golf come alive to them.

A typical morning of doing school. We have an app through our school and the teachers send a report of the class work and home work for each day. I then have a friend in India with our kids' school books send me pictures of any pages we need. It is a little complicated but hopefully they will join back to class smoothly.
Ezra loves Lowes and all the potential building projects it holds.
Madelyn and I led a ladies meeting and she was so brave. She volunteered to read and spoke about our work with so much excitement. It was great to see!
We took the kids to a local minor league game at the Round Rock Express and they loved it do much. We thought it might be boring but there was a kids play area, $1 hotdogs and foul ball chasing to keep them occupied.
Ezra and I went to the PGA superstore and got new putters. Mine is a great ladies putter and Ezra's is Luke's old putter cut down to his size and regripped.

UMHB down the road does a great Easter play that we took the kids to.

We stopped in Waco to do the Dr. Pepper Museum. We learned a lot and made our own sodas.
For Madelyn's birthday we surprised her with a day at the huge indoor water park in town, Kalahari! She was thrilled and it was an amazing day!
Madelyn received several sweet birthday cards from the ladies at the meeting we had done earlier that month. It was really precious.
Madelyn wanted a mermaid themed birthday party.
We had family over to celebrate.
Madelyn received her first every new set of clubs. She has always gotten Ezra's hand me downs but we were missing a size that she needed so we bought the size in the pink version for her and she was SO excited about it!

We took the kids to Texas A&M campus to see what a large college looks like. We had a lunch date in the area and the kids are starting to ask about what college is.
We showed Ezra the engineering building and he wanted a picture to print to hang as inspiration in his room. This kid! haha!

Luke and I had some meetings near San Francisco so we took a day to tour the city and ride a trolley.
This sweet indoor water slide park was on Groupon so we got some passes and the kids loved it!
We spent a week in Nashville and were able to visit with several precious families that we love from there.
On the way home we stopped in OK for the PGA Championship.
We talked to Lahiri who is a player on the PGA tour from India. We talked in Hindi and told him we live there and were cheering for him. It was awesome!!

There was a parent child tournament in San Antonio and the boys tied for 1st and got 2nd from the card playoff. It was a super fun day!

We went to a big meeting that we all really LOVED in VA.
Our last day in the States we had a big dinner at Luke's parent's house with family.
