May was full of so many precious memories!
Luke and I love to go to the movies. We try to arrange one morning a week while the kids are in school for us to both be free and go on a morning date. Usually about once a month we can catch a movie playing at an early morning time and have just enough time to go back and pick Madelyn up at 12:30. We wanted to see the End Game which was a very long movie. We found a 9:00 am showing in town and loved it!
Our backyard pool is so fun for the kids.
One of our favorite things about Thailand is boba tea (Thai milk tea with tapioca balls on the bottom). Recently we ordered all the supplies and Luke found a recipe online so we've been enjoying homemade boba tea almost every night.
I found a birdhouse kit online and ordered it for the kids to make with Luke. They thoroughly enjoyed it. We hung it in the back area. It looks really pretty but the birds haven't been eating the bird feed.
Ezra had his first birthday party for a classmate. He used to hardly know a kid's name from school and now he has blossomed into such a social butterfly.
Ezra has been working so hard on reading this year and doing a great job.
I love to make yeast roll dough for baked hot dogs and cinnamon rolls.
On Thursdays we have small group with other families from our church that live in our neighborhood. It is such a sweet time of fellowship.
This girl is such a hoot!
We had our friends over the other day an introduced them to phoosball.
We also introduced them to Mario Kart.
We made our favorite Indian meal too of course.
Ezra and one of his best friends Aaron.
Ezra is getting so big. He loves to help me cook food and felt so big when I let him cut the apples (under heavy supervision).
This pool is a perfect relief from the super hot Summer days.
Madelyn and I were matching one day when we went out to Punjab. I love driving the roads and taking in the beautiful view of fields for miles.
Madelyn and her sweet friend Lilly walking into school holding hands.
The kids hand-made me some cards for Mother's Day.
Madelyn has been working hard at her handwriting skills.
Our space themed movie night included an outerspace craft and the movie "Walle".
I love this sweet girl.
She is getting so big!
Ezra received a small drone for his birthday last year and loves to fly it in our community center.
Sweet friends. :)
Its one of my goals now a days to find "Indo-western" looks that are culturally appropriate but that I feel pretty wearing.
During election season here in India we had our friends over for a watching party. They enjoyed explaining how politics works here and we learned a lot.
We love these sweet friends!
And their precious kiddos.
Family date at the mall to celebrate the start of summer break.
The first weekend of summer break Ezra fell very hard on the marble floor and had to get stitches on his forehead. It was our first emergency room visit and went pretty smoothly.
These sweet friends are the cutest.
"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" movie night included a craft and of course spaghetti with meatballs.
