June was full of a ton of swimming, golf and games.
The kids were on holiday all of June so I bought some new games and puzzles to keep ourselves entertained in the house.
We signed Ezra up for a golf camp in the mornings. While he golfed Madelyn and I swam at the pool, which is also conveniently located at the driving range.
I introduced the kids to some oldies but goodies.. The Brady Bunch and Sorry!
Our dog Sadie turned 2 and the kids wanted to celebrate her birthday.
We made her some doggie approved cupcakes and even sang to her.
The kids LOVED it!
I also made a brownie cake for us to enjoy in Sadie's honor.
I cut it into the shape of a dog bone and wrote "Happy 2nd Birthday Sadie" on it.
The things we do to make our kids happy.
School holiday also mean extra time to play with friends.
One of my favorite things to do on a beautiful day is to lay in the hammock and enjoy it.
Ezra showing Madelyn a few things he is learning in his golf camp.
She loves to join him in playing golf.
Some after golf swimming so that Ezra doesn't miss out on the fun.
Outside of the Chandigarh Golf Association (the facility that has a driving range and pool) there is a man who makes nimbu pani (Indian lemonade) and it is delicious! We order some every time we come.
We played a lot of golf this summer.
Madelyn's hair is so long and beautiful.
She's so cute in her swim cap.
I grew up swimming basically every day of summer and love that my kids get to have those same type of memories.
I asked the kids one day what they wanted for dinner and they said "chicken and donuts".,. so I ordered KFC and Dunkin' Donuts. They were so surprised that I said yes to such a not-healthy dinner. haha!
This cracked me up because Ezra was working on a powerpoint project for his holiday homework and Madelyn was reading a book on the Kindle. Kids these day are so tech savvy.
Just a sweet moment captured.
I love watching the kids worship at church.
Toy Story and donuts make for a super fun afternoon.
Celebrating our friend's birthday by smearing cake on his face.. a hilarious local tradition.
Another day at the driving range.. because there is shade and fans which are necessary in the 120 degree heat.
